PolkMarketplace.com is the brainchild of four long-time Lakeland residents:  Mona Burtz, Ken Rutledge, Elaine Grimes, and Jon O’Dowd.  Recognizing the need for local buyers and sellers to connect via the internet, PolkMarketplace.com is a listing service for ‘For Sale by Owner’ (FSBO) homes, classifieds, and job listings.  Jon and Mona have been involved in internet marketing in the Polk county area for many years and knew the need existed.  By combining their technical and marketing skills with Elaine and Ken’s business and networking skills, PolkMarketplace.com was born!
